Designing a three-room polyclinic within a single-fronted retail space that is only 6 meters wide. The narrow façade limited natural light, creating the risk of dark and compressed areas deeper in the plan. At the same time, three examination rooms, a waiting area, and a clear circulation layout needed to fit in a way that was both efficient and comfortable.
We approached the project with a design-to-build mindset, focusing on solutions that would work both spatially and on site. Glass partitions were used to bring daylight deeper into the interior while keeping the layout efficient and realistic to construct. The 3.60 m ceiling height along the main axis enhanced the sense of volume, and materials were selected for both aesthetic clarity and long-term durability in clinical use.
The project was successfully transformed into a bright and efficient three-room polyclinic despite the narrow frontage. The result delivers a functional, durable, and well-organized clinical environment that supports both daily operations and future growth.
